Currently we have an excellent opportunity to work as a nurse prescriber for a care home, which provides care for adults with acquired brain injury.
We are seeking a Nurse Prescriber (RGN) with leadership skills and clinical experience to join our team. The role involves caring for adults with neuro-disabilities and complex physical needs, including tracheostomy and long-term ventilation (training provided).
Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience

Hours: Full Time or Part Time
Setting: Care Home
Location: Lancashire BL8
Day shifts – 7:30am to 8:30pm
Night shifts – 8:15pm to 7:45am
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Deliver high-quality care to patients with neuro-disabilities and complex physical needs
2. Lead and mentor junior staff
3. Prioritise care tasks effectively and manage workloads
4. Write detailed care plans and reports
5. Solve problems confidently and advocate for patients with physical and cognitive impairments
6. Embrace continuous learning and skill development
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
1. Registered General Nurse (RGN) with prescribing qualifications
2. Experience in general nursing with a focus on prioritisation and leadership
3. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
5. Willingness to undergo training in specialised skills (e.g., tracheostomy and long-term ventilation)
6. Commitment to continuous professional development
