A day in the life of a Murphy SHES Advisor
1. Advise and support teams to discharge their Health & Safety & Quality responsibilities.
2. You’ll be the key point of contact for escalations or changes required to help minimize the impact of our construction partners’ work and ensure it is to the required standards.
3. Working knowledge of onsite best practices for construction activities.
4. Identify and develop innovative solutions to existing processes to improve our ways of working.
5. Support Asset Management Teams to ensure compliance with all requirements are met.
6. Carry out site inspections in accordance with the Company procedure and analyze all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences of non-conformance.
7. Input and collate data on SHESQ related issues into Company database to assist in determining areas for continuous improvement through trends and data analysis.
8. Support Quality Management to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated.
9. Help ensure we are compliant with our statutory undertakings.
10. Embrace the company’s vision and purpose, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
11. Other engagements and tasks as required by the business.
Still interested, does this sound like you?
1. Previous relevant experience in civil engineering/construction.
2. Ideally, SHEA Water, Power, Gas, and National Water Hygiene.
3. Solid understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
4. Understanding of relevant safety standards for UK construction activities.
5. We’re looking for a candidate who always looks for ways to nurture and improve stakeholder relationships and thrives on going above and beyond for clients.
6. A full valid UK driving licence.
7. Knowledge of the utility and energy industry, particularly NERS, GIRS, and WIRS, is preferred.
