Salary
£23,563 to £24,263 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience.
Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.

Your role as a Cleaner - Sutton Bonington Campus:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills, who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.
Based at Sutton Bonington Campus, the main duties include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
Important Information: These positions are strictly based at the Sutton Bonington Campus near Leicestershire LE12 5RD. Please note that public transport links to Sutton Bonington Campus are limited before 8.00am. Please ensure if you will be using either public transport or your own to check the Campus location and public transport timetables and routes. The successful candidate is expected to be able to be on site and start working from 6am.
Hours of Work: 15 or 16 hours per week.
* Monday to Friday: Hours of work are between 6.00am-9.15am (flexibility will be required).
* Wednesday to Sunday: Hours of work are between the hours 6.00am-9.15am (flexibility will be required).
These positions are offered on a permanent part-time basis (15 or 16 hours per week), required to be worked throughout the whole year (including student vacation periods). Pay initially £12.50 per hour plus an additional 20% for hours worked at the weekend.

The successful candidates for these positions will be expected to attend induction/statutory training courses which will be delivered at the Main Campus - University Park. There will be a number of different options to attend either during a typical week, Monday to Friday, or on set weekend dates within the year, all of which are required to be attended within six months of employment as well as any refresher training requested by the department throughout your employment.
