The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in identifying, developing and delivering profitable business with existing and new customers in the food sector - UK or internationally based, dependent on business requirements. You will implement and deliver creative commercial strategies around providing flexible packaging solutions, carry out market research to identify commercial opportunities and develop robust relationships with customers, as well as building strong relationships with internal teams. The Business Development Manager will be involved in the complete sales process from identification and selection of raw materials and service suppliers, through manufacture, shipping and delivery to final payment. The role will involve UK and potentially international travel. Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering profitable new business in the flexible packaging sector (flexible film manufacturer, converter or machinery supplier) with experience of supporting a food customer base. You will demonstrate exceptional communication and IT skills, technical acumen and a creative mindset, and have the ambition and determination to exceed expectations.
