About the department
Join our 20-bed Acute Medicine unit, where we deliver exceptional medical care to patients admitted from the community or our Emergency Department. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures collaborative care involving patients and their families to achieve the best outcomes. We cater to a range of acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions, offering personalised attention and a comprehensive array of specialist medical services, including diagnostics, observation, consultation, treatment, complex discharge planning, rehabilitation referral, and supported aged-care placement.
How you will make an impact
Picture yourself as a key leader in our Acute Medicine unit. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Cabrini Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional quality of care within our busy department. You will be a resource for your team, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives to maintain a high standard of patient care and will be integral to the daily management of the department.

Key Capabilities
6. Current AHPRA registration
7. Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
8. Acute hospital Medical or Surgical experience is required.
9. High-level organisational skills with great diligence
10. Critical thinking and forward planning
11. Quality Improvement / Auditing experience
12. Post Graduate Nursing Leadership and Management qualification is highly desirable or working towards the same
