Our leading defence consultancy client in Glasgow is recruiting a number of Project Manager roles to deliver critical projects across HMNB Clyde. Our client has very strong market share of the frameworks within HMNB Clyde, from fit out of the living accommodation, to demolishing of existing buildings, new build, civil & infrastructure work, client advisory, and much more.
As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes for their clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders effectively, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead projects within highly regulated industries, ensuring successful delivery across the full project lifecycle.
* Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resources.
* Implement effective risk management and change control processes.
* Ensure projects align with client requirements and organizational goals.
* Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
* Ability to work in Glasgow or HMNB Clyde 2-3 days per week.
* Minimum of three years’ experience as a Project Manager.
* Comprehensive experience with engineering design and construction projects.
* Experience with NEC3/4.
* Proficiency in risk management and change control processes.
* Professional qualification in an engineering, construction, or project management-related discipline.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Degree in an engineering, construction, or project management-related discipline.
* Chartership in a relevant field.
* NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager certification.
* Association for Project Management (APM) Registered Project Professional status.
* Familiar with CEMAR.
* SMSTS certification.
