PSV Technician / Bus Mechanic / HGV Engineer Key Responsibilities:
10. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on buses to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
11. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
12. Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance tasks.
13. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any arising issues promptly.
14. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major faults or defects.
PSV Technician / Bus Mechanic / HGV Engineer Requirements:
15. Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on buses or heavy-duty vehicles.
16. Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
17. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
19. Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
