We are seeking a kind, creative, and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming Key Stage 1 team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who understands the importance of a smooth transition from EYFS and can provide a nurturing, structured environment to support children's continued growth and development. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 1 Class Teacher:
1. Deliver engaging and well-paced lessons tailored to the needs of Year 1 pupils.
2. Build on the foundations laid in Reception, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition into Key Stage 1.
3. Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and early reading development.
4. Assess pupils regularly and adapt planning to meet their needs.
5. Promote curiosity, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Ideal Year 1 Teacher:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A good understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and transition from EYFS.
3. Experience or interest in delivering phonics (e.g. Little Wandle, RWI, Letters & Sounds).
4. A warm, calm and inclusive teaching style.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with families and colleagues as a Year 1 Teacher.
