The International Markets Centralized Investigations (IMCI) team seats within the Employee Workplace Relationships Services (EWRS) organization and is a newly formed function responsible for executing centralized investigations, case management, and intake for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and LATAM, with plans for future geographic expansion. We are looking for an experienced leader to own the IMCI Rhythm of Business (RoB) routines, partnering with the IMCI Director and the EWRS Business Optimization & Strategy Sr Manager, to drive the continuous improvement of the services in the current countries, and to conceptualize and drive the geographical expansion roadmap, partnering closely with Regional and Country PXT and business line leadership. This role will span across Global Operations and other selected business lines across Europe and Rest of World (ROW) countries. The operational objectives and programs delivered by this team enable Amazon to deliver on the goal of being Earth's Best Employer. This role can be based at a Corporate Office in the United Kingdom (preferred) and in any of the European Union countries. Key job responsibilities - Build mechanisms and plans to deliver the IMCI three-year strategic plans (SPS/3YP), annual operational plans (OP), as well as annual goals as per the EWRS Operational Planning Calendar. - Establish mechanisms and track progress for annual goals to support KPIs in alignment with strategic goals set by the EU PXT Leadership team. - Create and deliver monthly & quarterly business review documents for review with EWRS, Employee Experience and Relations, and PXT Leadership to provide an overview of progress towards goals, highlight challenges and risks, and summarize dependencies. - Monitor key productivity and quality metrics, assess deep dives required for root cause analysis based on outlier detection methodologies applied MoM, and/or QoQ, and/or YoY. - Define and implement initiatives to innovate and improve existing processes to streamline and eliminate waste while enabling growth and scale. - Lead strategic initiative to extend the IMCI services to other EU and ROW countries. This includes collaboration with internal stakeholders to deep dive needs and identify the countries with the greatest opportunity to improve Amazonians experience with workplace investigations. - Define the roadmap to seamlessly onboard these new countries onto the IMCI scope of delivery. - Prepare business papers with insights, recommendations, or proposals with limited guidance. - Communicate and execute the launch of our programs, services, and products into new geographies. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5 years of program or project management experience - 5 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, and managing tight and demanding schedules - Ability to dive deep for answers by leveraging strong data extraction skills with actionable outcomes and/or solutions; curate insights through analyzing historic data, trends, and variances; identify and mitigate gaps/risks and uncover opportunities. - Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way both in written and verbal communication for VP-level audiences - Bias for action, excellent attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through - Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, showing initiative even under unfamiliar circumstances - Manage and engage a large and diverse set of stakeholders; influencing without authority - Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning program strategy and execution roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree, or MBA in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field - Experience in launching program or products across multiple countries - Experience in large scale change management - Experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations - Sound understanding of workplace investigations Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
