About the Role

This is a fully remote role. You will have opportunities for international travel, while also enjoying a great work-life balance through flexible, remote working arrangements.
Some of the duties you will be responsible for in this role include:
* Manage purchase orders/contracts, ensuring cost, quality, and time objectives are met while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
* Oversee project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure, ensuring compliance with documentation, schedules, budgets, and client requirements.
* Coordinate kick off and handover meetings, develop detailed project schedules, and refine budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Monitor and update project documentation, address risks, and take proactive measures to resolve issues promptly.
* Engage with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth communication, adherence to deliverables, and timely invoicing.
* Identify, negotiate, and manage contract variations, ensuring fair and reasonable outcomes.
* Ensure project safety and quality standards are met, addressing any potential risks effectively.
* Conduct project close-out reviews, capture lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.
About You
To play a part in our continued expansion and success, we are seeking someone who ideally has:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
* 10+ years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering Role
* Commercial acumen
* Proven experience in proposal preparation, project management and manufacturing
* Strong negotiation skills to implement contracts and variations
* Excellent planning and organisation skills
In addition, the following would be considered advantageous:
* Knowledge of buoyancy systems
* Offshore pipeline & riser installation experience
* Knowledge of applicable standards, particularly API
* Proficient across Microsoft office suite
