Distance Learning Tutor
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our Distance Learning adult provision is growing, and we require Tutors and Internal Quality Assurers across a range of subject areas. The main function of the role is to support, assess, set targets, and give feedback to our adult learners on distance learning courses and/or conduct internal quality assurance (IQA) activity and standardisation meetings.
Applicants must have a relevant subject qualification, teacher qualification and assessor and/or internal quality assurance (IQA) qualifications are desirable. The successful applicant can work remotely and will be responsible for the front-line support of learners, working as a teaching professional, providing curricular and pastoral support consistently and reliably across your caseload and aligned to our NCG values.
The role needs to provide structure and focus to assist the learners to manage their workload and make continued progress through their course through to successful achievement. We are recruiting for a range of subject areas.
