Role Description
This is a full-time Nationwide delivery position for Self-employed Van Drivers at NRT Freight Services Ltd, located in Riccall YO19 6QQ. The Van Drivers will be responsible for the daily transportation of goods, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Tasks include loading and unloading goods, inspecting the vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and maintaining delivery schedules. Drivers are expected to communicate effectively with clients and operations staff and comply with all traffic laws and company policies. They must be prepared to be away 2/3 nights per week in their vehicle, for which they will receive an overnight allowance.
Qualifications
* Class B driving license and clean driving record
* Experience with vehicle maintenance and safety checks
* Good time management and route planning skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy objects
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability
* Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
