About the role
Become a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant! No previous experience or qualifications necessary, just a passion for helping others!
Vision For Education is excited to provide this incredible opportunity to support passionate individuals in entering the education sector. We collaborate with client schools to offer successful Trainee SEND Teaching Assistants high-quality training and paid placements within a Specialist SEND Setting.
Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will secure you a paid placement in a school to further develop your skills. We will assist you in developing your identity as an educator and help you choose your specialist area from EYFS, KS1, KS2 to secondary school and SEND provisions.
Before starting your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, providing you with the essential skills needed to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
SEND Teaching Assistants are instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of any school. The most effective Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and have a genuine interest in supporting the day-to-day needs of all children. They are also adept at building relationships with staff, children, and their families.
The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant varies by school. You may support the teacher during class instruction, run small group interventions, or work on a 1:1 basis to meet the needs of all children and help them thrive.

To be considered for the role of Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD
