Multi-Skilled Technician – New Build Housing Aftercare\nLocation: Exeter/North Devon\nJob Type: Permanent\nSalary: Up to £34,000 per annum + Van, Fuel Card, Tools, Uniform, Phone\n\nAbout the Role\nWe are partnering with a leading regional house builder to recruit an experienced Customer Care / Multi-Skilled Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected business, delivering outstanding aftercare and defect management services across newly built housing developments in Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.\nYou will report to the Customer Service Manager and be responsible for carrying out all maintenance and repairs, ensuring new homeowners receive the highest level of service throughout their aftercare period.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n·Attend scheduled appointments punctually, taking direction from the Customer Care Manager.\n·Protect properties appropriately before starting works, including the use of PPE and overshoes.\n·Carry out inspections of reported defects and issue full written and photographic reports as required.\n·Identify and report repetitive defects to the Customer Care Manager to assist in continuous improvement.\n·Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and site rules at all times.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n·Comprehensive knowledge of construction, housebuilding processes, and trades including Painting, Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry, and Joinery.\n·Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.\n·Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team.\n·Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workload effectively and take initiative.\n·Calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.\n·Full UK driving licence.\n·Flexibility to travel to various sites across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.\n\nPackage and Benefits\n·Salary up to £34,000 per annum.\n·Company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, and work phone provided.\n·25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.\n·Pension contribution.\n·Opportunity to work with a well-established, supportive regional housebuilder.\n\nWhat next?\nFor an informal discussion please call Abbie or Jo on (phone number removed) or apply as instructed.\n\nSphere Solutions Ltd is a leading construction recruitment agency specialising in providing top-notch staffing solutions to the construction sector.
