Alloa HMO:
We currently support 8 people who live together in an HMO (House of Multiple Occupants). They have their own rooms but share facilities such as the kitchen and bathrooms. Our supported individuals receive personalized 1-2-1 support focused on their outcomes and goals. Each supported person has a Good Life Plan, which guides support workers to provide the necessary assistance for them to live the life they desire. Supported individuals vary in age and most have learning disabilities with dual diagnoses. They are active and enjoy using local amenities for social and leisure activities.
Alloa Outreach:
We support people in their own homes across the Clackmannanshire area. The supported individuals have various disabilities and ages, with support packages tailored to their needs. Each has a Good Life Plan to ensure support staff can assist with their goals. They access local amenities for social and recreational activities; some attend college or work locally.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Working with colleagues as part of an effective team to support vulnerable people.
2. Communicating and working well with supported individuals to provide personalized care and maintain appropriate relationships.
3. Supporting individuals during activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.

What is a Relief Support Worker?
As a Relief Support Worker, you will perform the same duties as our Support Workers during your shifts. Since you do not have fixed hours, you have the flexibility to pick up shifts that suit you.
*Please note: Relief work is on an as-needed basis to cover sickness, study leave, and other staff contingencies. We cannot guarantee regular or ongoing shifts as staffing needs change.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in roles such as Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, or Social Care Worker is advantageous but not essential, as Ark provides full training.
