THE ROLE - SEN TA
A role as an SEN teaching assistant involves working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. The primary goal of an SEN TA is to ensure these children receive the tailored assistance they require to thrive academically and socially. You will be working on a one-to-one basis or small groups with students, while monitoring and assessing their progress and development throughout their academic year.
THE SCHOOL - SEN TA
The primary school consists of 308 pupils, where the staff work to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment. The school has a strong Christian ethos but also celebrates the many cultures and backgrounds from which the children, families and staff have come. You can travel to the school via public transport, as there are a few bus routes and a couple of stations nearby. In May 2021, they were rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
