We’re looking for innovative and dynamic individuals with a working knowledge of schools' financial management systems, such as SIMS FMS, ACCESS, etc., and a clear understanding of school financial management processes. Candidates should have an enthusiasm and passion for enabling schools to understand their budget, meet statutory requirements, and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The School Financial Advisor vacancy is for 4 members of staff, and we are offering flexible working hours, either full-time, part-time, or term-time. The successful candidates must have a 'can do' attitude, the ability to work independently while supporting various school-based staff, and be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team.
This role will be temporary in the first instance. Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS.
Applicants must have experience in finance, and having an accountancy qualification would be advantageous. Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team are essential, as well as being proficient with figures.
The candidate will be required to visit schools, and expenses can be claimed from the office base to the location. A full clean driving license and access to a car for onsite visits are necessary.
Systems used include SIMS (FMS), Access, and Excel, but training will be provided.
Working hours are flexible, especially around school terms. Candidates will need to spend a couple of weeks in the office to complete induction and training before the manager can consider hybrid working.
