Redhill Primary Academy joined the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust in September 2018. Thomas Telford Primary Free School is a new build primary school joining the Trust. The TTMAT has a proven track record of excellence and is at the forefront of educational developments nationally. In June 2024, Redhill Primary Academy was awarded Ofsted’s highest accolade, after being rated Outstanding in all areas of the inspection framework, stating that all pupils thrive both academically as well as personally and socially. Our commitment is to achieve the same outcome at the new Free School.
The advertised role will see the successful candidate working across both Redhill Primary Academy and Thomas Telford Primary Free School. Both schools are based in Priorslee.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational, and enthusiastic SENCo who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of provision for children with SEND. The SENCo must be a fully qualified teacher with experience in the role of SENCo and hold the National Award for SENCo.

This post is a designated customer-facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as stated in the person specification.
This school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list (for regulated activity posts) as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024), such as an online check, suitable references, ID checks, and proof of qualifications (where appropriate). This post also requires checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and Childcare Act 2006, which includes a criminal record self-disclosure form to be completed and returned prior to interview.
