Paralegal – International Legal Support Contract role - Ongoing (no specified end date) PAYE Basis Kingston-Upon Thames We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team operating across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior legal professionals and business stakeholders, providing essential legal support, ensuring compliance, and managing litigation risks across the UK, APAC, and North America. Key Responsibilities: Legal Research & Analysis Stay informed about legal developments in key global markets to provide timely and relevant insights. Conduct in-depth legal research on specific issues as required by internal teams. Litigation Support Assist with litigation management, including document review, preparation of legal briefs, and coordination with external counsel. Track litigation progress and communicate key updates to stakeholders. Contribute to the development of efficient and cost-effective dispute resolution strategies. Knowledge & Information Management Maintain and update legal documentation systems, ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping. Oversee the archiving of emails, memos, legal advice, and other relevant legal documents. Support the implementation of knowledge management systems to improve accessibility and efficiency. External Counsel Coordination Manage records related to the engagement, selection, and payment of external legal advisors. Compliance & Governance Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and local laws across multiple jurisdictions. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Proven post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally gained in a corporate or law firm setting with exposure to international legal matters. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in legal document management and knowledge management systems. High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Business-level proficiency in a foreign language (such as French, German, Norwegian, or Chinese) is highly advantageous. Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or equivalent experience preferred.
