Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Qualifications and Experience:
1. Essential: A qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
2. Essential: Experience working in a school environment and supporting learning through the national curriculum.
3. Desirable: Additional relevant qualifications or certifications.
Responsibilities:
4. Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons, ensuring students are engaged and supported in their learning.
5. Provide one-to-one support for students who require additional assistance.
6. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
7. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
8. Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), ensuring their individual needs are met.
Skills and Abilities:
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents/carers.
11. Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
12. Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children.
13. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
