We're looking for a passionate mid-level UX/UI designer or a driven high-level junior ready to step up. If you're mid-level and eager to grow into a senior role, this is the perfect opportunity - while it won't be senior right away, they'll support you on that journey!
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 - may be some flex for the right person
Hybrid - 3-4 days onsite to start with. more flex after embedding yoursef in with the team and projects.
What we are looking for:
* Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, tools, and approaches.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UI trends, design systems, and accessibility best practices.
* Practical experience with content design and agile methodologies in UX/UI projects.
* Understanding of the financial services industry, especially consumer credit products, regulations, and compliance.
* Awareness of company values, processes, and how they align with user-centered design goals.
Skills:
* Proficient in creating and maintaining digital assets, wireframes, and interactive mockups using Figma.
* Skilled in user research, data-driven design, and applying UX best practices.
* Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
* Effective at documenting design decisions and presenting complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
* Experienced in end-to-end design processes, prototyping, and advocating for user-first solutions.
Some of the day to day:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and evolve intuitive, user-centered experiences.
* Creating beautiful, responsive layouts that align with brand guidelines and design systems.
* Developing wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate clear interactions.
* Using UX tools (like Mouseflow and Google Analytics) and user research to inform and optimize designs.
* Ensuring consistency across UI elements, typography, and interaction design.
* Iterating on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and usability testing.
