Having spent the last few years steadily growing, they are now looking for a part-time accountant that can help manage a portfolio of clients whilst building some great relationships along the way.
This role is perfect for anyone that either has commitments outside of work or is simply looking for a better work/life balance.

Importantly, the owners realise that work isn’t everyone’s number one priority – so along with the part-time hours, you will be given flexible working to ensure work fits around you and your life rather than the other way around.
It’s a close-knit team of 5, and if someone is interested in full-time hours or progression in the future, the opportunity will be there, but for now, they need someone that is happy working part-time.
To be considered, you must have previous experience at a firm of accountants and be capable of managing your own day with the support of the wider team.

* Responsible for the preparation of year-end accounts for a wide portfolio of clients.
* Manage any queries relating to VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts.
* Ensure HMRC deadlines are met and correspond with HMRC to resolve any reconciliation queries regarding Corporation Tax and PAYE.
* Provide information to the tax team for preparation of self-assessment tax returns; review of returns before submission.
