Job Title: Finance Administrator
Location: Central London, Chancery Lane
Remuneration: £33, - £40, per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract Details: Maternity Leave Fixed Term Contract for 12 - 14 months

Are you a Finance Assistant with a knack for numbers and a passion for organisation? Our client, a well-established company in the Accountancy industry, is seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and administration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive support to the Practise and Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
2. Handle general bookkeeping, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and managing client accounts.
3. Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and monthly management reports.
4. Maintain the Central Software system, creating and updating client and employee records, processing timesheets, and generating reports.
5. Conduct fee protection service administration as required.
6. Cover reception duties, answering calls, handling correspondence, and managing administrative tasks.
To excel in this role, our ideal candidate will possess one of the following:
7. Experience working within a professional services.
8. Ongoing studies or qualified in AAT
9. Significant experience as a bookkeeper or an Finance Assistant.
This is a 12-month maternity cover position, starting from December, and ending on December. The successful candidate must be available immediately and willing to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
