937CW Construction Delivery Lead Hinkley Point C, Somerset Long term, Full time £430 PAYE to £580 UMBRELLA per day Job Title: Construction Delivery Lead Description & Background: We're seeking an experienced Construction Delivery Lead to join the Construction Delivery Group at Hinkley Point C. This critical role involves overseeing construction activities carried out by Tier 1 contract partners, working as part of a fully integrated Site Construction Directorate. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing assigned construction activities while managing interfaces between adjoining sections of this complex nuclear power project. Responsibilities: Manage and develop Construction Delivery Managers, providing support, guidance, and training Oversee Health Safety and Environment aspects during construction activities Conduct and record safety/assurance inspections supporting project KPIs Organize and lead Weekly Planning meetings (PLOWs) with Contractor Partners Attend and lead various coordination and construction meetings Support Tier 1 contract partners in delivery of their scope Review Construction Daily Site Logs and ensure proper reporting Manage engineering changes in the field, owning RFIs, FCRs, and NCRs Lead document reviews and approval processes Oversee contractor management of construction and labour force logistics Monitor works on site and maintain detailed documentation Ensure compliance with surveillance programs and quality control measures Coordinate with site functions including H&S, quality, surveillance, and logistics Support delivery work pack (DWP) completion and lifetime quality records Experience Required: Relevant Degree in Civil Construction or equivalent Considerable experience in delivering large complex projects NEBOSH, SMSTS, or IOSH qualification Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience in strategic planning of site setup and construction sequencing Good working knowledge of commercial construction principles Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders Strong report writing and documentation skills Desirable Qualifications: Experience in nuclear environment Experience operating in high security environments Knowledge of French Previous experience with large-scale infrastructure projects Familiarity with quality control systems and processes Location and Hours: Based at HPC, 5 Days per week Long term, Full time £430 PAYE to £580 UMBRELLA per day This role offers an exceptional opportunity to play a key leadership role in one of Britain's largest and most complex infrastructure projects.
