About the Role: Join an amazing UK and IE sales team with a strong growth mindset and unleash your potential. As a National Account Manager you will be leading all the grocery accounts of the Irish market and be responsible of one of the top 6 UK grocery accounts. You will serve as the main point of contact for your accounts and will own the full retailer P&L of assigned accounts to deliver value, volume, and profitability % metrics. You will work to unlock the ambition of growth in both the Irish and UK market by leveraging your partnership with retailers and leading the delivery of aligned promotions and activation plans within each retailer in line with the JBP. You will play a key role in growing the Bel UK business and report directly into the Head of Channel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management of all grocery account of the Irish market and one of top 6 UK retailer
• Negotiating Contracts, from the commercial planning through to execution
• Build successful relationships with key retail partners
• Develop and execute business plans with Irish & UK retailers in line with the Bel Category Vision and business strategy
• Lead distribution recommendations and promotion of the current portfolio; supporting product launches & making recommendations on Marketing activation
• Own the full retailer P&L to deliver joint retailer & Bel business solutions
• Scenario modelling with Bel P&L templates to commercialise retailer opportunities and growth strategies and align internal stakeholders
• Analyze and track performance to provide insights on Bel & competitor activity and identify opportunities
• Work pro-actively and collaboratively with cross functional Bel teams Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain & Finance to drive Bel brands in both the Irish & UK Market
• Responsible for admin of the retailers account including FTMR reports, EPOS Sales and Prom Nom forms
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing retailer accounts
• Lead or participate in cross functional projects in line with the Bel UK’s Values and improvement targets
Skills/Experience:
• Min of 3 – 4 years grocery NAM experience in FMCG – Essential (Food and drink is a must)
• A willingness to learn the culture, category and market knowledge of Ireland
• Demonstrated ability in business development and account growth
• Proven track record of managing JBP cycles with Retailers
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experience/Exposure in P&L retailer management
• Willingness & ability to travel to Ireland (Cork & Dublin) often
• A good understanding and knowledge of Xtel – Desirable
