Summary
Due to continued growth and success, a planning and environmental consultancy specializing in land and building projects within housing, renewables, community, and recreation is looking to hire a Lead Project Consultant. The role involves managing, facilitating, and completing EIA and planning applications requiring a multi-disciplinary approach.
The successful candidate will focus on client management and project delivery, coordinating planning applications and environmental assessments in collaboration with Planning and Specialist Consultants.
This role suits a talented, collaborative individual who can use their initiative to find solutions. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will need excellent attention to detail, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to write and coordinate planning applications and EIAs for developments including renewable energy, industrial, and agricultural projects.
You should be organized and capable of managing multiple projects at different stages, involving site visits, office work, and engagement with local authorities, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project progression within deadlines. The role involves teamwork, client management, fee proposals, and supporting colleagues.
Seeking someone with:
* Minimum 2 years' experience within a Planning or Environmental Consultancy
* Relevant Degree/Master's qualification
* Ability to produce high-quality, accurate reports
* Experience of Environmental Impact Assessment process
* Experience of fee proposal/quotation preparation
* Attention to detail and good organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong document review and editing skills
* Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
Preferred qualifications include:
* Member of RTPI or IEMA
* Experience of ArcGIS
* Experience of AutoCAD
