Lead Teacher in Maths Job DescriptionWe are seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Teacher in Maths to join our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new school that caters for pupils with ASC and Complex Needs. The school will have capacity for 48 pupils ages 4-11 years old and is due to open in January 2025.About the RoleWe require a qualified teacher who has experience teaching in an SEN school or working with SEN pupils. You will take a creative approach to teaching maths according to the educational needs of the pupils, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises their achievement and ability to develop.You will work closely with support staff within the classroom to ensure each pupil receives the support they require, while also maintaining a positive learning environment.
