Maintenance Engineer / Plumber We are currently working with a well-established, local property maintenance company who are looking to expand their team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, but also have the ability to carry out various maintenance tasks within a domestic setting. Some exposure in the following trades would be of benefit: ·Carpentry ·Tiling ·Bathroom installation / decorating Candidates should be based in Cambridge or surrounding villages / towns. The work will be predominantly in the Cambridge area and some work in the surrounding villages. Candidates should be comfortable with a multi-site mobile role. Our client is looking for an individual who can comfortably work in a small team / pairs, as well as being a competent and pragmatic decision maker when working independently. As the role mostly working in occupied homes, the candidate must be comfortable, polite, and professional in this setting. Duties: ·Monday to Friday, 8am > 4.30pm ·Attend scheduled appointments in customers' homes. ·Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as required. ·Problem solving various issues arising in properties. ·Sourcing parts from local suppliers. ·All associated plumbing and general property maintenance tasks required in domestic properties. Requirements: ·At least 3 years' experience in plumbing / property maintenance. ·Full UK driving license. ·NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing & Heating (preferred) or equivalent experience. ·Good written communication. ·Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide accurate records of all repair work and report findings on a mobile device on a daily basis. ·A positive attitude with a willingness to complete a wide variety of tasks. ·Ability to perform tasks alone or in a team to a high standard without constant supervision.
