Knowledge / Experience:
1. Support the internal audit schedule by conducting regular internal audits to assess and ensure compliance with quality standards EN9100 and identify areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on customer requirements to ensure compliance within the production environment.
3. Perform specification reviews to ensure products align with the specified requirements.
4. Analyse production processes/data to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality.
5. Develop inspection and risk management methods to analyse product quality in line with customer requirements such as MSA, FMEA, CPK.
6. Provide analytical reports for management; highlight key findings and propose recommendations that are proportionate to the risk.
7. Oversee and direct the complaints process, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with relevant departments.
8. Safeguard and promote the integrity of the QMS to ensure compliance with EN9100.
9. Develop and provide training to staff on internal quality processes, standards, and best practices.
10. Ensure the protection of Company Intellectual Property and Customer Confidentiality.
11. Perform any other tasks and duties as required by management.
Background:
1. Previous quality assurance experience and demonstrated use of quality tools/methodology, including problem-solving methodologies.
2. Strong understanding of quality management systems.
3. Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as automotive (16949), aerospace (9100) or oil & gas.
4. Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with standards and regulations. (Internal auditor qualification desired)
5. Proficient in creating and maintaining accurate quality documentation, reports, and records to facilitate traceability and continuous improvement.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Effective interpersonal skills.
8. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
9. Experience in ERP systems such as Navision or similar.
