My client are now seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Worker to join their team at a leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre on a permanent full time contract on days and nights. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients on their journey towards recovery. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to deliver a comprehensive range of services to clients experiencing drug and alcohol addiction. Responsibilities as a Support Worker: Work collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and develop personalised treatment plans Provide support and guidance to clients during group and individual counselling sessions Administer medication and monitor clients' physical and mental health Participate in the planning and delivery of therapeutic and recreational activities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive appropriate care and support Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge Helping to create a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment Requirements as a Support Worker: Previous experience working in a rehabilitation centre or related healthcare environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work days, nights, and any day of the week including weekends Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude With opportunities to gain qualifications, get help with educational support, and work with a fantastic team who will support you on your journey as a Support Worker, these are only a few of the benefits that they can offer.
