JOB PURPOSE:
To assist with the planning, organisation and administration of all aspects of public exams and assessments which are to be conducted efficiently in the best interest of candidates.
To ensure the accurate and timely processing of all data relating to the management of student records across all funding streams relating to Group delivery.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work independently, plan, prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communicator, possessing ability to communicate with many people on many different levels.
Experience of working in administration and a customer focused environment.
The post holder should hold a level 2, or above in Numeracy and Literacy.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft office applications.
A proactive approach to resolving problems and queries.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take part in the collection, checking, inputting and submission of data using in house databases and external systems to ensure accuracy of data.
Assist with ensuring that all exams are conducted to the standards and requirements stated by the awarding bodies, College procedures, JCQ and Ofqual, including supporting managers in delivering training to invigilators.
Support the maintenance of the exams timetable, including the timely processing of on-demand exam and invigilator bookings.
Respond to enquiries from current and former students and support curriculum teams with queries from prospective applicants.
Act as a key point of contact to customers for the Exams functions, including with regards to timetables and registers, exams entries and fees.
Working with other team members to ensure the maintenance and security of exams papers, including preparing exam packs and collating exam papers.
Undertake Exam related staff inductions and training as and when required, including helping to maintain help guides relating to key topics.
Actively participate as a full member of the Exams teams, working closely with colleagues, managing workloads and attending all team meetings as determined by your line manager.
Participate in all training on the relevant data systems used in the delivery of the role, ensuring full compliance and accurate use of the systems and processes.
Undertake some evening and weekend work as and when required.
Provide exceptional customer service to all staff, students and college visitors.
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities as are appropriate with this level of post as required.
