Business Development Manager – Cyber Security
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a growing team within the cyber security sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience in selling cyber security services or a strong background in B2B business services, looking to break into the cyber security industry.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across both the public and private sectors. You will also manage and develop a small portfolio of existing clients, focusing on relationship-building, upselling opportunities, and contract retention.
Key responsibilities include:
* Prospecting and securing new business opportunities.
* Handling and maximising incoming sales leads.
* Exceeding monthly sales targets and KPIs.
* Conducting risk profiling for clients to identify new sales opportunities.
* Managing and developing existing client accounts using Account Development Plans (ADP).
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
* Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs.
* Advising clients on implementing a cyber security strategy.
* Maintaining the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions.
About You
* Minimum of 3 years’ B2B sales experience.
* Experience selling cyber security products and services is preferred but not essential.
* A background in security technology sales or technical presales (looking to transition into sales) will be considered.
* Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both in-person and digitally.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
