A Local Authority based in Merseryside is looking for a Participation Officer to join their Children Services. The purpose of a Participation Officer is support and advocate on behalf of our children and young people to ensure that they have a voice in Children's Service that can create improvements for the service. Previous experience working with children is essential for this role. Key responsibilities include: Coordinate and supervise the current participation activities within the service To implement of Mind of My Own within the service. To support the effective involvement and influence of children in care and care leavers in the corporate parenting committee. To provide relevant feedback to children in care on the outcomes of their consultations and other activities.
