As a hard FM service provider CBRE provide 24/7 service delivery support for the hospital for all M&E Services including water treatment. The helpdesk is also managed through CBRE Helpdesk Co-ordinators based on site with the use of Si Local and PDA System. Key Responsibilities Reporting into the onsite water hygiene supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to - Complete reactive flushing and sampling works and other associated PPMs as required and inline with agreed protocols - Completing planned maintenance in line with SFG20 and HTM Guidelines - Input data on to dedicated water hygiene CAFM system - To provide support to the wider CBRE engineering team as required - Carry out daily checks of plant rooms and equipment - Carry out thermal disinfections of outlets - Attend training scheduled by the Management Team (E-Learning and role/site specific courses) - Provide regular hazard reporting for the site as found - Any other reasonable requests as per management discretion Person Specification/Requirements - Experience of working within an NHS or Healthcare environment would be advantageous - Knowledge of basic infection prevention control protocols - Demonstrable experience within a similar role - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority - Waterborne Infections in Healthcare Training - Familiarity with HTM 04 Safe water in healthcare premises - Legionella Awareness Training - Diligent and pro-active - Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative. - Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
