Job Title: Senior Investment Programme Manager Location: Falmer (Hybrid Working) Salary: up to £80,000 Job Overview As the Senior Investment Programme Manager, you’ll be at the helm of ensuring the successful delivery of key interventions in line with Southern Water’s strategic goals. You’ll lead a team across a major investment portfolio, managing risk, costs, and benefits, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects on time, on budget, and aligned with the PR24 Business Plan. To do this you’ll work across asset management, delivery and finance areas. Responsibilities will include: Lead the delivery of strategic programmes worth up to £1.5 billion, ensuring benefits are realised and regulatory commitments met. Proactively manage programme budgets, identify risks, and provide early warnings to senior leaders, recommending corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal efficiency and alignment with Southern Water's goals. Develop and present high-level reports for key stakeholders, including shareholders, the Board, and the Executive team. Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Programme Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. About You Proven experience in programme management, ideally within the water, wastewater, or infrastructure sectors. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. A deep understanding of the water industry regulatory frameworks, financial management, and business case development. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and external stakeholders. A degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, risk management, asset management) and programme management qualifications (e.g. APM). Experienced in project delivery, PMO, asset management and/or finance. Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
