About The Role
Role: Domestic Assistant
Location: Jubilee Gardens, Leyland
Contract: Part Time (20 hours per week) / Permanent
Salary: £24,404 - £24,790
Closing Date: 2 April 2025
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in our award-winning extra care facilities. Our facilities are designed to provide a supportive and comfortable environment for residents, offering a range of services and amenities to enhance their quality of life.

What you’ll be getting up to
Experience:
* Cleaning of a large residential facility.
* Using particular cleaning machinery, such as buffers.
* Understanding of health and safety, security, and fire precautions.
Knowledge:
* Understanding and experience of the barriers, needs, and aspirations of older, vulnerable, or disabled people, particularly regarding digital technology.
Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
* Work across teams in a positive and constructive manner to achieve results.
* Ability to attend meetings and events out of hours.
* Ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex ideas and information in a structured and readily understood manner.
* Ability to work with and involve people both individually and collectively in the development and promotion of the digital inclusion project.
Other Requirements:
* There will be an expectation to cover at other sites if required.
* Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check (applied and paid for by the Council).
