Sharp Consultancy is thrilled to be recruiting for a highly reputable organisation in South Sheffield. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, looking for a dynamic and rewarding role.
As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of all maintenance activities within the business. Working closely with both the operations and engineering teams, you will ensure that all resources are effectively allocated and that maintenance tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule for all ongoing projects.
2. Coordinate with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure planned maintenance activities are completed efficiently.
3. Track and report on the progress of jobs, identifying any potential delays or issues.
4. Ensure that all equipment and resources are available and ready for scheduled maintenance tasks.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, timescales, and costs.
6. Monitor and maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The Candidate:
1. Proven experience in a maintenance scheduling or planning role.
2. Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
3. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet deadlines.
4. Proficiency in maintenance scheduling software (CMMS, SAP, or similar).
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to work under pressure.
