The Role
To provide a reception and typing service for designated medical staff, ultra-sonographers and nursing/midwifery teams. Organise and prepare clinics, ensuring all relevant paperwork and case notes are available to facilitate the smooth running of the service. Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries from all staff groups, patients, relatives, carers, providing information, directing and prioritising queries as appropriate, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Standard Grade education
2. Minimum 2 years administrative experience
3. Proficient in use of Software packages.
4. Advanced keyboard skills
5. Good organisational and communication skills
It would be great if you also have
6. Medical terminology.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, good communicator.
8. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
9. Ability to work under pressure.

18. This role will be based in Maternity Department within University Hospital Wishaw.
19. The working pattern for this role is Monday-Friday.
