Leader Education are looking for an Autism Support Assistant to work in a Large Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school based in Ashington. This school caters for children aged 2 to 19 years old. The successful Autism Support Assistant will work 1:1 and in small groups with children who have moderate to severe learning disabilities and the willingness to provide extra support within the classroom. It is essential for the successful Autism Support Assistant to have previous experience working with children in a relevant field. Transferable skills are important to this role. The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm and is a long-term position.
