The role: Project Coordinator
Location: Leicestershire
Job type: Full time (Monday – Friday)
Salary: CIRCA £27,000 (Depending on experience)
The role is office based so applicants must be Leicestershire based and able to commute daily.
Our Leicestershire based shopfitting clients are currently looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join them in a full time and permanent role. They will play a key role in supporting the project managers and wider team with key tasks and responsibilities relating to projects.
The role requires a team player who works well with colleagues and external parties (suppliers, sites, contractors) supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of projects. They will need to be organised a strong administrator and an excellent communicator who understands the importance of their role and how it contributes to successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
* Ordering materials
* Risk assessments and H&S documentation for sites
* Administration, invoices and PO’s relating to multiple projects
* Communicating information with internal and external parties
* Provide accurate support to members of the projects team
* Liaising with sites, suppliers, internals teams, warehouse team – both written/verbally and in person
* Manage costs - Obtain supplier quotes, gather costs, agree sales prices, purchase orders, job costs
* Prepare site documentation using templates – RAMS,
* Provide project support on multiple projects at any one time
Key skills
* Knowledge of shopfitting/joinery would be an advantage
* Organised
* Strong administration skills
* Experience working with external suppliers, logistics etc
* Good communicator verbally, written and in person
* Thrives in a busy environment and able to support on multiple projects
* Commercially aware
* Previous experience working with H & S documentation, Risk assessments, costs/PO’s
* A keen interest in Project Management
