My client, a fantastic PE backed business on the outskirts of Worcester Park are currently recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant. Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office - Monday-Friday - Car Park On Site - 37 hours a week - Job Duties: Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders. General Ledger & Cost Management: Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper journal entries. Perform month-end and year-end closings. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Analyse costs and variances to identify efficiency opportunities. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and financial plans. Support forecasting to aid in strategic decision-making. Cash Flow & Audit Support: Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring smooth financial reviews. Tax & Compliance: Ensure accurate tax reporting, including VAT and corporation tax filings. Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements. Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc Projects: Lead financial projects, system improvements, and process enhancements. What You Need to Succeed Qualifications & Experience: ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified, Newly Qualified or Part Qualified with ambitions to qualify. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAGE Intaact experience is ideal). Advanced Excel skills and experience with budgeting/forecasting tools. Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
