Main duties of the job
We have an amazing opportunity for a Service Manager (RGN) to lead our wonderful Specialist Brain Injury Neurological Care and Rehabilitation Service in Nottingham, located in the town of Hucknall, 7 miles from Nottingham City Centre and just 2 miles from the M1 Motorway. Our specialist centre has a friendly and dedicated team who provide long-term person-centred care and support for adults with either a brain injury or complex neurological condition. With Three distinct yet complimentary services on one site, we offer flexible we offer flexible care options form our specialist onsite team. Our clinical team is highly trained in the rehabilitation and care of adults with brain injuries and other neurological conditions.As Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality patient centred services on a 24-hour basis. You will lead an inspiring, forward thinking, engaged, and motivated team and be responsible for the strategic direction of the service ensuring that it meets the business objectives, financial objectives and market demand.***This is a nurse qualified role ***

Job responsibilities
What you'll be working:
We can be flexible but you will work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
As Service Manageryou will also be part of the on-call rota and be expected to attend for any emergencies.
What you'll be doing:
* Ensure the care and treatment delivered by the Service is high quality, safe and patient centred at all times.
* Lead and inspire a valued team, maximising the potential of the individuals within it
* Ensure all the people we support, and colleagues are safeguarded and any concerns are raised via the appropriate process including Speak Up; its important Just Culture and Behaviours are embedded and that these are naturally acted at all times
* Direct line management of the senior management team, ensuring senior management cover arrangements, including out of hours on-call
* Responsible for ensuring that all care standards, regulatory standards, and other quality measurement criteria are met, if not exceeded
* Work independently with responsibility for all aspects of running the service including budgetary management (income and expenditure) and all statutory compliance of the property including fire management, infection prevention and control the services and facilities
* Ensure that robust Local Integrated Governance arrangements are in place, and that the Quality & Performance Management System is maintained to a high standard
* Build excellent relationships with all colleagues, visitors, carers and regulatory bodies
What you'll have:
* Current NMC Pin Registration (RGN)
* A legal right to work in the U.K
Passion and dedication to providing person centred care and ensuring the people we support are treated with dignity
QCF / NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care Management or equivalent is essential
Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory landscape, and legislation framework
Previous experience leading and inspiring a senior team and management of varying disciplines
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise as appropriate
