TPS Parts Sales Executive - HYBRID WORKING
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, along with Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS is a network of TPS Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce and a management team that prides itself on creating a motivating and inclusive workplace where employees are recognized, rewarded, and encouraged to pursue learning and development.
Nationally launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning that Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres opened nationwide.
What will you be doing?
1. Work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.
2. Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
3. Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
4. Utilize all product promotions effectively to achieve specific targets.
5. Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
6. Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
7. Build strong working relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
8. Provide a high level of service to customers by understanding their requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and providing expert advice.
9. Communicate timely to customers regarding their credit status.
10. Assist and support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service delivery.
11. Work with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets.
12. Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting.
13. Ensure proper and accurate use of all systems to search and order parts.
14. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
15. Handle all cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines in the Operations Manual.
What are we looking for?
1. A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
2. Confident and capable communicator with proven experience in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
3. Passion for providing a great customer service experience.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
5. A team player with the drive to achieve individual and sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
7. IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
8. A passion for the automotive industry.
