HYBRID - Work From Home / M4 Corridor (Slough/West Drayton/Hayes) / Office Location (Maidenhead)
You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis (Standby allowance).
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a BMS Support Engineer - Data Centres, this is a hybrid role working from home and onsite Slough/West Drayton/Hayes as the business requires, with occasional travel to Maidenhead. The successful candidate will undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with service level agreements.
What you will be doing:
As a BMS Support Engineer - Data Centres you will be responsible for:
1. Providing routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
2. Responding to customer service calls in the event of a system failure and carrying out small repairs & remedial works.
3. Keeping various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date and documenting service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
What experience you'll have:
* BEMS or BMS preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems with familiarity with Trend & IQ Vision.
* Experience of working within the building controls industry, with an understanding of mechanical plant.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Proven diagnostic skills and the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
* Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
* Located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes.
* Willing to manage jobs in Europe where regular visits may be required.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
* EU/UK Passport.
* PC literate.
* Be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
