Amazon is looking for a RoboticsDeployment Engineer (DE) for the European region. Your role as DEincludes the support of the technical execution of Roboticsdeployment projects. You will travel to a construction site,interact with different on-site teams and remote stakeholders.Analyze and resolve technical issues and execute, supervise andvalidate the completion of deployment milestones. Next to thesupport on deployment projects, you will provide training andpresentations of technical details to other teams and work closelywith the product development and supportteams.
*Traveling requirement for this role isup to 75%.

A day in thelife
Your day as Deployment Engineer might start out witha trip to the nearest airport to take you to a construction site.Once you've arrived on site, you will go through a safety inductionand meet the team on site. You will then review the activities onsite related to the project plan and mile stones. You will reviewany technical issues the team on site is experiencing and initiatethe resolution. In between, you might join meetings to align withlocal and remote stakeholder teams on technical issue reviews andproject alignment. The day finishes with a teamdinner.

BASICQUALIFICATIONS
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in ComputerScience, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Robotics orequivalent
• +2 years of relevant experience
•Business-level written and oral English communicationskills
• Passionate about hands-on troubleshootingactivities, whether hardware, software, infrastructure (power anddata)
• Proficiency in Linux administration andtroubleshooting
• Proficiency in data network conceptsand protocols
• Proficiency in the use of scriptinglanguages
• Able to provide examples where yousuccessfully resolved a software, hardware and networkissue
• Able to provide examples where you successfullyused scripting to automate a task
• Comfortable to beworking in a construction site environment
• Driverslicense
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MSin Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication orRobotics or related field
• Certifications: CiscoCertified Network Associate, Linux Administrator or LinuxEngineer
• Several experiences of having deployedrobotics technologies successfully
• Additional languagesapart from English
• Experience in leading a team ofinternational technicians and engineers
• Able to provideexamples where you worked in an international projectenvironment
