Project Manager - NPI Lisburn, Northern Ireland WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY We are currently seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the planning and delivery of new product introduction projects. Comfortable working in a delivery critical environment you will be the main contact to ensure that the product development progresses through the stages of our NPI process. Key work areas include requirement capture, hardware / software planning, concept creation / evaluation, detailed design, proto-type build, test validation, field trials, operational readiness, and product launch. As Project Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Responsibilities: Manage the product development process throughout the project life cycle. Develop, monitor, and control project schedules and their critical path ensuring projects are managed in accordance with company procedures and best practice. Managing both hardware and high-level software work packages to meet required milestones. Develop project budget costs and contingency (risk allowance). Develop and maintain project Risk Register and Issues Log ensuring mitigation strategies are appropriately managed. Maintain Lessons Learned Log. Manage Change Control. Prepare monthly projects progress reports on cost, quality, schedule, risk etc. Make project related presentations to required stakeholders. Manage effective project implementation and delivery with customers. Working methods will be appropriate for the post-COVID business environment and will involve working with remote teams. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Experience of product development project management. Sound knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and documentation. Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules. Experience in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) including experience in presenting to/ negotiating with senior stakeholders. Experience of using project management platforms such as MS-Project. Knowledge and interest in software development would be advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be an EU passport holder. QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree (e.g. BA, BSc, BEng). Any relevant professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile, Scrum.
