We have an immediate requirement for a Gas Engineer / Plumber.
You will be a flexible and adaptable Gas / Plumber Engineer who is able to react to client demands, whether that be covering planned maintenance or dealing with emergency call outs.
You will be required to operate as part of an on-call rota which will be discussed at the interview stage. (Please be aware that this will involve at least one weekend per 6 weeks).
We expect our Gas / Plumber Service Engineer to have a minimum of 4 years experience.
Our office is based in Blackpool, you will be covering surrounding FY, PR postcodes for which a vehicle is provided (private use available at your cost).
You will be provided with a company mobile phone.

Naturally, you will be proactive, well-organised, and punctual, and as comfortable in a team as you are solving problems on your own.

Duties will include:
1. Efficient diagnosing and repairing of faults on Gas central heating boilers and systems.
2. Thorough and concise Gas boiler servicing and Landlord Safety Checks in accordance with current regulations.
3. Gas boiler and system installation work including small works and remedial.
4. General plumbing maintenance and repair.
Essential Experience & Skills:
1. Minimum of 4 years Gas installation and maintenance experience.
2. Plumbing experience.
3. Electrical experience would be desirable but not essential.
Successful Candidates should have:
1. Strong customer service and communication skills.
2. Motivated and able to work unsupervised.
3. Can-do attitude when presented with a problem or challenge.
4. Eagerness to learn and adopt new ideas and technologies.
5. Experienced in all areas of Gas Safety, System, and Boiler Diagnostics including repair and installation.
Applicants will need to hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, and HTR1 and a Full UK Driving license.
