The Catterick Integrated Care Centre (CICC) is a transformational development between the NHS and Ministry of Defence (MOD) that represents a groundbreaking vision to deliver seamless, person- and family-centred care in the community. This innovative initiative aims to provide integrated health and care services for military personnel, their families, and the local civilian population, while setting a national benchmark for collaborative healthcare delivery.
The CICC will address the growing demand for health and care services driven by the relocation of armed forces personnel and the expansion of the local civilian population due to new housing developments.
The OD&T Project Support Officer will play a pivotal role in the organisational design and transformation of the CICC. They will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to align with the transformation goals, facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure their needs are integrated into the organisational design.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work closely with the CICC OD&T Manager, the CICC Programme Manager, and CICC Clinical lead to support the delivery of the CICC programme. It is important for the postholder to operate effectively across both organisations while being employed by the NHS.
The OD&T Project Support Officer will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to ensure they align with the transformation goals of the Catterick Integrated Care Campus (CICC). This includes tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring project milestones are met.
This role involves facilitating communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, including NHS and MOD representatives, local authorities, and community groups. The officer will ensure that stakeholder needs and perspectives are integrated into the organisational design and transformation process.
The officer will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting project data. This data will support informed decision-making and track progress against key performance indicators, ensuring the project stays on course.
Providing administrative assistance to the project team is a key duty. This includes scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining project records to ensure smooth project operations.
Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact the project is crucial. The officer will work with the project team to develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks.

The Catterick Integrated Care Campus (CICC) is the first of its kind, a truly transformational development between the NHS and MOD. It represents the vision and ambition of system leaders and associated organisations to realise a new and innovative model, which moves away from disease treatment and management to seamless person and family-centred care and support in the community.
CICC will provide integrated health and care services for military personnel and their dependents, as well as the general NHS patient population that will grow due to new housing developments.
There is national interest in the development and CICC is expected to be an exemplar of best practice in integrated military and civilian healthcare and in new ways of working. All partners across the NHS, MOD, and our communities remain committed to delivering this new facility and to turning the vision into a reality.
The post holder would be expected to work autonomously to achieve project objectives including:
1. Ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to support project and programme reporting.
2. Support, facilitate and coordinate the development of the OD&T programme plan and work packages through liaison and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Support the implementation of specific initiatives in accordance with the agreed timescales.
4. Provide support to a range of groups and teams related to the programme.
5. Collating and analysing project data, investigating risks and issues and researching best practice.
6. Develop productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to commissioner programmes and project delivery.
7. Manage and support the timeliness of project plans and escalate issues as required.
8. Prepare reports, presentations and updates for stakeholders and Programme Manager.

Experience
Essential
1. Proven experience in project management/PMO function or similar with relevant experience to this role and strong organisational skills.
2. Experience of working in a complex organisation in a health or military environment or public sector organisation.
3. Understanding of principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective project management.
4. Experience of working effectively with stakeholders and partners.
5. Effective team working.
Desirable
1. Experience in supporting change management initiatives.
2. Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.

2. Knowledge of PRINCE II.
3. PRINCE II qualification.
4. MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) qualification.
