We are looking for a dynamic Library Customer Experience Officer(s), to be a welcoming face and a first point of contact to help customers navigate our vast free resources. If this sounds like you – and you are available a minimum of three days a week, across all 7 days, then come join us!
About the position
The City of Tea Tree Gully Library is a large community hub providing an innovative library service to more than 1,000 visitors a day. Library staff provide a community-focused service, embracing diversity and offering support through a collaborative team, with services available seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Deliver outstanding library customer experience where people feel welcomed, heard and supported
5. Handling enquiries, memberships and transactions with professionalism and patience, empathy and support for problem solving
6. Maintain a welcoming, organised space for customers of all ages
7. Assist customers to find books, navigate resources and access a variety of technology
What you will bring:
8. Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service
9. Experience in working in a team environment and with limited supervision
10. Basic technology skills with a willingness to help others
11. Experience working in a Public Library and an understanding of the Onecard network
12. Successful applicants require a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check prior to commencing
