U-Drive are looking for an upbeat and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Poole Our next Customer Service Representative will be a true ‘people’ person. You’ll deliver exceptional service without having to think about it, with the customer experience at the forefront of each interaction you have If you enjoy an active and varied role that sees you out and about as much as it does picking up the phone, while being part of a genuinely supportive and friendly team, this is the role for you About the Role Reporting into the Branch Manager and working alongside a sociable and focussed team, you will act as the first point of contact for customers coming into the branch on a day-to-day basis, fielding all enquiries face to face as well as through phone and email. This is a pivotal role for both the Branch and the wider company, with the candidate representing the Branch and the brand in all interactions with both retail and corporate customers. This role is a 45-hour rota with w eekend work required on a rota. The successful candidate will be a hardworking and ‘can-do’ individual, who thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment and who can multi-task in their sleep Responsibilities include: Generating quotes and taking bookings based on customer requirements Confirming vehicle bookings and customer needs through phone calls and emails Administration of Rental Hire Contracts Using internal systems to create and process the vehicle bookings Checking the customer ID presented and assessing risk based on our insurance requirements Offering additional insurance products, upgraded vehicles or add-on sale items at point of sale Checking vehicles in and out with a customer, to include generating the terms of the hire and fielding any related queries from the customer Taking payments and making refunds via credit cards and online payment processing Dealing with customer queries and complaints, over the phone and face to face Undertaking vehicle checks with the customer highlighting existing and new damage caused during hire Managing vehicle faults, damage or SMR of vehicle to workshops Assisting with deliveries and collections of vehicles when required Assisting with valeting of vehicles when required About U-Drive Established 42 years ago, U-Drive is a family-owned and operated vehicle rental company supplying high quality cars, LCVs, and specialist vehicles across the UK.
